Jahrhundertsongs / Century Songs

Ein Lied als Jahrhundertsong zu bezeichnen bedeutet natürlich eine Gratwanderung. Denn hier spielen deutlicher als in meinen sonstigen Kritiken persönliche Eindrücke die entscheidende Rolle. Beispielsweise wird man merken, dass ich bei großen, bekannten Bands nicht unbedingt auf deren "Hits" zurückgreife, sondern mich ganz klar von meinem Geschmack leiten lasse. Einige Songs bezeichne ich auch als Klassiker, weil ich mit ihnen aufgewachsen bin und ich deren Melodien einfach nicht mehr loswerde. Man sieht, es spielt auch ein kleiner Leidensdruck mit. Der ist in diesem Falle aber angenehmer Natur.

Ich bin übrigens gespannt, was Ihr dazu schreibt. Bestimmt kommen Fragen wie: "Warum ist eigentlich von der Band X der Song Y nicht dabei, ist doch eindeutig ein Klassiker", usw. Aber auch diese Seite muss wachsen und ich lasse mir gern von Euch ein paar Empfehlungen geben. Aber vielleicht erkennt der ein oder andere von Euch ja auch einen neuen Klassiker unter den hier vorgestellten Liedern. Wer weiß...

A song to be called a century song is always a balancing act. Because this more evident than in my other reviews personal impressions play a decisive role. For example, you will notice that I at large, not necessarily well-known bands on their "hits" has recourse but let me clearly guided by my taste. Some songs I refer to as a classic because I grew up with them and I no longer simply get rid of their melodies. You see, it plays well with a little suffering. Which in this case, however, a pleasant nature.
